On Friday, the Supreme Court ordered the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to disburse funds totaling Rs21 billion for elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The court instructed the SBP to send a communication to the finance ministry regarding the matter by Monday, April 17.
