Karachi, Pakistan – In a surprising turn of events, Imran Aslam, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Sky Wings, Pakistan’s first Air Taxi service, has gone missing, as revealed on Friday. According to reports, Aslam disappeared from Jinnah International Karachi Airport on Wednesday at approximately 10 pm. His manager, Tasadeq Hussain, promptly filed a complaint at the Airport police station, suspecting that Aslam may have been abducted by unidentified individuals.
Following the lodging of the complaint, local authorities wasted no time and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. Sky Wings, an aviation startup based in Karachi, had been preparing to launch its much-anticipated air taxi service.
Earlier statements made by COO Imran Aslam Khan indicated significant progress for the company, as he proudly announced the arrival of the aircraft intended for their aerial tour service. “The company has secured a lease for the DA40 Diamond series aircraft,” Khan stated. He further elaborated that the single-engine plane has the capacity to accommodate up to four passengers at a time. The air taxi service was primarily aimed at connecting Karachi to rural Sindh and remote areas of Balochistan.
Khan also shared details on the expected travel times for specific destinations, stating, “The aircraft will reach Gwadar in just three hours, while the journey to Nawabashah will only take an hour.” Moreover, he revealed plans to launch an application to facilitate the booking process for this innovative service.
