On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly criticized Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), for initiating a “vile, sinister, and malicious” campaign against Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.
Expressing his disapproval on Twitter, the prime minister condemned Imran Khan, stating that he has been exposed in a negative light.
“Imran Khan persistently indulges in a despicable, deceitful, and malicious campaign against COAS General Syed Asim Munir. His tactic of employing proxies to issue threats of an assassination attempt against the Army Chief has been thoroughly exposed,” he wrote on the microblogging platform.
