According to Russian officials, a Russian tanker carrying 11 crew members was struck in a Ukrainian attack in the Black Sea. The overnight strike in the Kerch Strait caused damage to the vessel’s engine room, but fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
Ukraine has not yet made any public statements regarding the incident. However, a source from the Ukrainian security service informed the TDTOP that a sea drone was used in the attack.
This recent attack marks the second time in two days that such weapons have been used. Interestingly, Russia has not acknowledged any damage resulting from Friday’s attack.
