Law enforcement agencies have identified and taken legal action against some of the rioters who attacked the house of Lahore Corps Commander and other Army installations in the wake of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s arrest in the Al-Qadir Trust case. According to ARY News, the attackers have been booked under terror charges and identified as Owais Mushtaq, Ibad Farooq, Muhammad Hashi Khan, and Jahanzeb Khan. The attack on the Army installations and Corps Commander’s house in Lahore had occurred during a protest by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) workers. During the clearance operations at the Lahore Corps Commander’s house, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi sustained severe injuries after being hit by stones thrown by the protesters.
